WHAT CAN WE DO

by Peter V Cornelis We can take our call to those who feel dismayed for the things that changed their life because of stroke. Having made some recovery of our own, reach back and help someone that is new to this long journey. The individual will find that, in doing this, tremendously helps their own outlook and recovery. Last month, the article was "we are one" in stroke. There is that common bond between us and experience, that we know, recovery, can be, a long dark hallway. We do know our dooway is well lit and becons to invite the newcomer to stroke. It is from our achievments that they find hope in and their need of council we find our spirit in. Reach back and help someone, give of yourself and find the reward waiting for you. There is a much stronger belief in a stroke survivor telling you of this journey, More believeable than someone in a suit telling us or even at times a Medical person. Somehow, when a person has walked the route, the way to follow is more credible and easier to follow. Take the journey, follow us, help leed the newcomer to the door out of the long dark hallway.
