Some clinics specialize in the rehabilitation of children where another one may focus on the elderly. Each Patient is considered a unique individual and regarded as a guest, throughout each step of the recovery process, towards normal life. Treatment: Therapeutic plans and decisions are made during team meetings. Effective treatment requires a complete history of the development of the illness, knowledge of the actual functional, cognitive and social conditions. Therapies offered: A wide spectrum of therapeutic and diagnostic services is available, not only professionally, but also due to specialized equipment. Therapy options: • Physiotherapy • Moving-belt therapy • Logopaedics (speech) • Swallowing therapy • Physical therapy • Rehabilitative Care • Neuro-Psychology • Psychological support • Med. Training Therapy • Electrotherapy • Underwater therapy • Dietary consulting • Ortho- and Rehab- Methods • Rehabilitative Care • Social work • Relations as co- therapists Specialized Therapy Options: • Robotic Technology: If you want to learn to walk, you have to walk, if you want to move your hand, you must move it. With the development of robotics our patients have the most modern technology at their disposal. For the hip and leg, the Automatic Moving- Belt-Therapy with Lokomat, designed for partial weight relief. A Robotic hand ortheses, created to reeducate finger and hand movements. • Fresh Cell Therapy: Fresh Cell Therapy begins with the selection of specific tissue cells, harvested from a fetal baby animal, bred specifically for this purpose. Through many years of research and experience, sheep are known to be the best donor animals. Sheep are vital and hardy, with a naturally disease resistant immune system. Sheep proteins are compatible with the human body and do not trigger immune reactions. Fetal cells do not have antigens; hence they are not recognized as foreign by the host body. Fresh cells are tissue specific, in the 1930’s a Swiss scientist Professor Dr. Niehans proved his theory, fresh cells circulate from the injection site until they recognize and congregate at the human counterpart of the organ or tissue. After rigorous laboratory processing and testing the Fresh Cells are injected into a human host. These fresh cells imprint their vitality upon old, tired, degenerating, or damaged cells, stimulating them to function with renewed efficiency. Fresh cell therapy is applied for a variety of conditions; which include immune system treatments, anti-aging or wellness aging, to orthopedic applications such as cartilage implantation to repair degenerated joints. Many have benefited from Fresh Cell Therapy; Adenauer credited his energy, which gave him the ability to lead The Republic of Germany, when he was more then 90 years old President Eisenhower, Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and French General De Gaulle, President Bresnjiev received Fresh Cells to maintain their concentration and physical endurance. Pope Pius XII was impressed with his treatment. He inducted Dr. Paul Niehans, the founder of cell therapy, into the Papal Academy of Science, following Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of penicillin. • Microcurrent Electrical Neuromuscular Stimulation (MENS): Microampere therapy has its beginnings as early as 1688 when Digby suggested covering small pox lesions with charged gold leaves to prevent scarring. Further studies noted the excessive formulation of granulated tissue when burns were treated. Many of the frequencies used today were developed in the early 1900's, the strange looking pieces of electronic equipment fell out of use in the 1940's. In recent years, low amplitude frequency modulated electrical stimulation is an increasingly popular treatment modality for accelerated rehabilitation. This form of stimulation has been referred to as microampere, microcurrent therapy, microelectric neuromuscular stimulation (MENS) or Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy (FSMT). Microcurrent devices are capable of delivering frequencies in millionths of an amp and have been shown in published studies to increase energy (ATP) production in cells by 500%, profuse blood into tissue increasing circulation and reduce scar tissue. Microcurrent technology enables a trained practitioner to manipulate muscle tissue quickly creating effective and long lasting results. Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy is highly specialized and can be used alone, or with additional therapies. Fresh Cell Therapy is enhanced with the devices ability to increase circulation helping the cells travel to their target tissue. The increase in ATP production encourages tissue to heal at a faster rate. When microcurrent therapies are added to a patients treatment plan, used as an accelerant, decreasing the overall time required for rehabilitation. There are no other therapies in medicine that are comparable to microcurrent therapy; however, a machine is only as good as the practitioner operating it.
